Default 2009 softail custom windshield

I've been looking for months for the best looking and working windshield. I went to the Local Harley shop and they measured that a 16" would be the best me. I'm not a fan of the buffering stories I'm reading. I use a half helmet.
Looking for any suggestions from you guys.
Thank in advance..

I have a 2010 Deluxe. I started out with the HD windshield, and in 2014 went with the MS Bat Wing... I like the new look, and no more buffeting... Best mod I have done, and simple installation.

The SS is what I was looking at. Hows it with buffering? I do mostly around town but need one for long rides. Like a said, I run a half helmet.

I have a Memphis Shades I use on mine when it's cold. It's one of the sport models, I can't remember which one. I think they come in about 3 different heights.

I also do some short and long runs. It works great. Hardly any buffering and I wear a half helmet also. Great in the rain also. If you need any measurements just let me know and I will get them for you
