I also do some short and long runs. It works great. Hardly any buffering and I wear a half helmet also. Great in the rain also. If you need any measurements just let me know and I will get them for you
I'm. 5'8.....Harley measured me for a 16". If wish they made the wind splitter for my bike. My buddy has it and loves it.
Im 6'3" 240 ... we take 4000 + rides each year works fine for me ... I think a full size windshield would be better ..... I have one of those on my fatboy .... but it aint broke so Im not gonna fix it .... I think mine is the 19 ... Ill have to measure as it was on the bike when I got it at 9000 miles
after riding both if your 5'8" and Harley says 16 get the taller one ... by 2 inches JMHO .... when I get the next one for my FXSTC Im gona try to make the bigger full size one fit ..... book say the compact is the one that goes on the bike ..... but I feel the king size would be better little more width and slightly taller Windshield wise as far as I sit on the bikes ...
the more narrow the windshield is makes it less and less effective.. why a batwing is so nice even though they are not very tall.
