Default 6” pullback risers

29 DEC 2017 03:36 PM
Hi looking at putting 6" pullback risers on my fatty 2010. Currently have the stock ones.. can I get the 6" to fit my 1.25 bars? As I can not seem to find and seems I have to go down to 1" bars which I don't want to do..
also can i go with my current cables or will I need to replace?

Anyone done this previously?

Thanks

I did the 4" for 1.25 bars.
Part number for 6" is 56267-09.

The upper brake line may need replaced on mine - or might need to do some 'adjusting' - on full lock left the line is up against tank. Everything else is fine. I assume with the 6" you would be forced to replace that.

Look at bungking.com. to my knowledge, they can make what ever you want. Their price seems to be really good for custom ones. Thinking of using them for my street bob

L.A. Choppers has the 6" risers and you may need to change out the brake cable.

I have seen the HD 4 inch pull back riser on a new Breakout and they look very sharp. It was surprising how much of a change in looks just four inches made. Owner loves them.

I'll second that for fat boy. Compared to stock FB the 4" is something like 2" up and 3/4" back. Had it out for a couple short runs before snow/cold fell but based on quick rides it may all that is needed for me.

Thanks. Yes wanting to do this soon. Getting a sore back after a 30 min ride. But so bloody hard to find 1 1/4 risers here in Australia or someone to send here. Maybe easier just go the full hog and get 16” apes.
