Default Oil level and Light

Hey everyone,

Another week, another newbie question...

I noticed the other day that the Oil light on the dashboard went on..(or maybe it's always on when I start it and never noticed..) see pictures.

Does that mean that the oil level is low and need to refill? Or go for an oil change? And how do I check the level or refill?

I bought it from a dealer 2 weeks ago and assume(or was told) that they have serviced it already but not sure.

Try replacing the oil pressure sensor.

light should be lit when the ignition is turned on. should go off once the bike is started.

Try checking the dipstick to see the oil level.

That's an oil PRESSURE light, not an oil LEVEL light. Comes on when you turn on the ignition, should go out when the engine is started.
