Wire Gauges
I have a 07 Heritage Classic, and I recently replaced my ignition switch, and because of a previous road breakdown ignition switch failure and a "get me home" modification, the wires are just shy of too short to stay connected to the switch terminals. So I don't want to replace the whole harness, just going to "pigtail" them. I can't find any wire gauges in the service manual, and I want to use the same size wire. Just not up on my wire gauges. Probably could use something close to it, not much voltage going through them, but just trying to be a little more precise.. Anyone have any suggestions?
Thanks

The fuse is designed to protect the wire in the event of a fault. 15A fuses are used to protect 14AWG wire...so most likely you have 14 AWG wire.
You can verify on your Heritage by checking your ignition fuse.
