Problem resolved gentlemen! The tensioner is ok. I just had to collapse it ALL the way down to its lowest position. Put it back in and works and sounds great.
I appreciate all the advice gentlemen and I wouldn’t have been able to resolve the issue without yalls help!
You have the best one made. You do not just want it spring loaded. It needs to lock in and not jump till it gets over 1/4 " slack past 1/2". Then it will jump only one notch.
If it's just spring loaded, it's always tight top and bottom the spring loaded. Harley's manual and your Harley automatic always has play on bottom. Of course top is tight when driving it fwd under load.
