Corbin Solo Seat and Ovalback rest. Are they worth $1000?
I love my Slim but continue to slide back on the original seat. I am considering purchasing a custom made Corbin with a backrest, to the tune of $1000. Worth it? or no?
Although I've been using a Corbin seat and back rest for many years and it's worked great for me, I personally wouldn't spend that much money, but to each their own.

Reason: more info on a seat
Not worth a grand to me. Wait and pickup a used one. You can get knock off backrest on fleebay cheap. I bought a Classic solo, like the guy above stated, never bonded with it. Is a 150 mile seat at best. Then its time to get off and walk around a bit.

Nah, I did 800 on mine without a problem. Butt and legs never got numb once. It's just too firm for my tastes and sits about 2" higher than stock which really aggravates me.

Only your *** and back will tell you if it's worth it. I use Corbin on all my bikes. I tried about every solo out there and the Corbin works best for me.
