I just ride with my feet on the back end of the boards when I want to have a more mid position, then I move them to the front of the boards for forward positioning. Kinda gives me nice options.

I used to ride feet far forward or on highway bar pegs. Now I'm more like the o.p. I use the stock boards like mid controls alot to keep my posture and back in good order.

oh ! thx. did not realize the flexibility of range. First bike with floor boards, short and not on the bike yet. still winter and will be for another 2 months yet.....oh canada. maybe a reach seat is a good option. tried to get the reach bars but the heated grips are already installed on the stock bars so will leave well enuff alone. reach seat option. looking into the titanium custom exhaust for the stage 4 kit which will be installed at the 1st service.

Sounds cool! Yeah the boards are long enough to give a good range of positions - especially without the heal shifter. The stock bars are easy to adjust back towards you too, so you’ll probably be able to make them a good fit as well. Those heated grips must be nice. They are on my wishlist!

we dont have global warming in canada, we only pay carbon taxes on each purchase. however maybe by July we can ride ! so far blizzards, snowfall and extreme freezing. while we are down, do you know of any manufacturer of wheels I can buy for the heritage , forged wheels ?
