Congrats on the Deluxe. I just picked mine up last month. Great bikes ain't they? You mentioned a Springer rail and backrest, exactly how do I go about finding that? Order from HD? Do you know the part numbers?

The Deluxe is a beautiful bike. Great choice if you like the old school looks.

You might try these for the heat issue.
I use this and it cuts the heat down quite a bit.
They are fromKuryakyn "Saddle Shields".
Mineare a see through smoke color, (you can get clear)
from one direction they look tinted and from another angle they look chrome.

Here you go guys, Seat Rail Kit 52687-97, rider backrest pad (low) 52826-97. This is the short setup but should be plenty support. Chciago HD has both in stock and 20% off.

Deluxe is a great ride, careful if you counter steer, it sits low and will scrape. First couple of times it will scare the sh_t out of you!!!
