Rocker C Tail Light Conversion
I know there are threads on this already but it's been a while since anything was posted. I'm wanting to change out the rear LED's with an Arlen Ness Fire Ring Turn Signal Kit. I've purchased the Badlands Illuminator ILL-01-R kit. Can I remove the guts to the OEM bullet rear turn signal housing and install the new LED's? I know the stock LED's are 6v and the new LED's are 12v but I hear the illuminator is supposed to compensate for it. Any ideas?
The LED's in the Rocker's bullets are not replaceable, if one goes out you must replace the entire bullet assembly....I have 12v LED's in my Rockers Thunderbike fender, and the Badlands Illuminator, which does take care of the problems with changing from the 6v lights, but I don't think you'll be able switch out the LED's in the stock bullets.

Thanks buddy. I like what you've done with your Rocker C btw. Very nice. Could you answer another question for me? There are 4 wires coming out to the rear turn signal and the LED's only have 3. Is there a diagram that show how to wire the LED's? I'm assuming you 2 of the wires from the bike will control 1 of the wires on the LED.
The green wire to each light controls the run/brake/turn function, that and the ground is all I used to connect, and with the Badlands unit I still get run/brake/turn from the new (3 function) 12v LED's.....and thanks for the compliments!! Keep on Rock'n!!
