Well today has been productive so far. Ran out of vinyl for today. waiting on UPS delivery for the other yard of it. anyways heres where im at now. I still need to do the headlight nacelle, belt guard, and battery cover on left side. Let me know what you think. I did the dash, gauge bezel, right side battery cover, and intake. Its a textured camp film from 3m. And since each pattern is a different texture, it flip flops patterns depending how the light hits it. I am by no means a pro. But I think it came out ok. Its very time consuming. And I could never do it for a living.
2nd that, what did you do and use to prep and apply everything? Im curious

not that complicated. I removed the parts from the bike. Cleaned with isopropyl alcohol. and just cut out a piece of vinyl from the roll thats larger than the piece. And from then on, its just working it on to the part. smoothing out bubble and creases. and using a heat gun on low or a hair dryer to make the vinyl soft and workable around curves and edges.
after that just trim the excess with an xacto knife. and you're done. just takes a while.
