Well i just brought home a new 2007 softail custom, red and black, it is sweet ( i will post pics soon) . My second harley, havent had one in awhile though. Two questions
1. any advice for some saddlebags would be great
2. and has anyone put forward control extensions on, and if so where from etc.
Thanks for all of the input and advice on this forum, great to be back in the biker community
Congrats on the new ride. Your gonna love the Custom, we doours. [sm=happy046.gif]
Now how about a couple of [sm=Flahssssss.gif].
A couple of guys have used the Ness extensons with good results on other Softails. So if you use the search feature you should be able to find some mention of them.As for the bags, sorry I don't have any for my bike, yet. But I have been doing some looking myself and have settled oneventually getting something that work with a quick disconnect setup.Personally, think thebike would look a lot nicer without them. Butsometimes looks have to take a back seat to practicality.
Congrats on the new bike! I got mine last fall and I still sometimes go out in the garage and just look at it. I ride it every chance I get and enjoy every mile. You will too.
Ive got the HD matching saddlebags 88263-07they have just enough room for your esentials. they do look good but i still think its better without them. but sometimes you need a bit of storage space. I have replaced the fixings so i can take them off easily when i want to and for cleaning ( its a pain trying to clean the bike with them on) i will try and get some pics up if your interested.
Congrats on the new bike !!! I've recently got some bags for my 06 fxst and love them. Here are a few pics of my Leatherpro bags installed. They are detachable and easily removed. I'm really happy with them and mention them to anyone looking for bags. And no, I'm not affiliated with them.
