I know most agree that if one does either an intake or slip ons but not together a tuner isn't a necessity. Since the Fat Bob 114 has the open intake from the Mother Ship would installing slip ons require a tune ASAP? The dealer installed S&S Grand National slip ons without the dB reducers before they put the bike on the floor. I do plan on getting a PCV from Fuel Moto just not right away.
Its weird, because the mocos own literature says that installing the ventilator ac requires a remap. But I bet the stock 114 has the same stock map as others without the ventilator. Guessing.
i have the Fat Bob 114 and confirmed with Rinehart and S&S that no tuner is needed when installing their slipons on this bike, even though it has the hi flow ac.
i rode a bit without a tuner and all was well. Then I put on the HD Pro Street Tunee and dont notice a difference.
