Biggest eye sore on this new bike is the side mount license plate... Its like Harley went "man that bike looks great, oh **** we forgot the license plate, just stick her on the side there, yea thats good enough"... I understand all Slims and a few other bikes have had that style mount from the factory for a while.
I cant find anything for this 2018 slim to relocate the license plate.
Anybody seen anything decent or know if the pre-2017 kit from Harley will bolt up? I dont have access to a pre-2017 slim to look at things to know for sure before I order a $100 part that wont work for me.
I cant plug my vin in there and see export parts... only shows USA parts.
Im contemplating seeing if my dealer can order one of the 2017 kits(or maybe has in stock) and try to fit it. I just dont want to plunk down 100 bucks and have a kit that wont work for me.
I made my own bracket using angle aluminum, pretty simple to do. Mine is a 16 slim but should work on the new one. I can get more detailed pictures if your interested in going that route.

If the pre-17 kit from Harley dont work out, I will get in contact and see what you came up with. Thanks.
08slvr, please share your solution with us. I’m getting a Sport Glide next week and want to bring the license plate closer to the fender, like on your picture.

How do you like the le pera seat vs the stock seat? My stock seat starts to hurt my tail bone after about 100 miles looking for a change. thanks
