Default Wind deflectors for 07 FXSTC

I just recentlybrought home my first Harley... A Burgundy and Crème 07 Softail Custom..

Besides it being too quietI have an annoying problem that I sure like to fix.

Ihavea Quick-Release DetachableStandard-Height Windshield butgethelmet buffeting above 60MPH. My line of sight is just above the windshield where I like it.

The only solution I can find searching this site was wind deflectors but only for the Heritage Classic FLSTC and HD only shows deflectors for the FLSTC.

ArethereHD wind deflectors for the Custom? Or would they look like crap on the Custom is why they don't exsist?

Any help from you guys would be appreciated...

Thanks

Yeah, don't look like they'll fit. .....

Fits '86-later FLSTC, FLST, FLSTF and '93-'96 FLSTN models equipped with Harley-Davidson® King-Size Windshield and/or Passing Lamp Kits. (Designed to also fit with accessory 5-gallon Fat Bob™ gas tanks.) (Does not fit FLSTS or FLSTSC.)

I have them on my ride, only did it to fatten out the front end, don't think they make a lot of difference. In your case I'd adjust the windshield. There was someone the other day saying that if you have a peak on your helmet then take it off, 'cuz this'll cause buffering on some windshields.

As for looks, I think it looks ok, but I've had 2 people tell me it don't look right. Others say it makes the Fatboy look huge up front. I'll get a pic.........

Do a search on "memphis and lowers" under "Softail Models" and you'll find additional discussions.

Try here too:

Hey thanks.... I did the search on Memphis lowers and think I'll try them. Being clear, they should still look ok ..

Also I took off the peak on my helmet like Demkey suggested and that helped somewhat too.

hel0013: Like that two tone color of your custom, gives
the bike a slight retro look. Nice.

If they work, please let me know. I've been looking for weeks, including calling Mephis Shades and National Cycle, along with checking with HD delaerships in TX and AZ (We're curring in AZ visiting my folks) without any luck. MS and NC tell me their lowers will only work with their shields because of the brackets. Good luck and hope you find something cuz I need them too.

Might have to wait a spell.

I ordered them, the lowers are here but the brackets are on backorder. They say a couple or 3 weeks till they come so I am banking on 4.

Will let you know when they show.

Figstr: as shown in the link in my first post here, the Memphis Shades lowerscan be attached to the fork tubes, but I think the '07s tube diameter is slightly larger then prior softails, so i think they are needing to retool for them.
