2018 Sport Glide Sales
This bike out handles any M8 softail I tried, probably because of the inverted fork and better tires that are not so fat. I noticed the fat rear tires on the Fat Boy fought me on the turns the Spot Glide doesn't do that.
The Sport Glide is heating up hear in the Northeast , I see them in the dealer one week and they are gone.
Good luck on your decision.

I think I've convinced myself to make the 7 hour drive. Hopefully all 3 colors will still be there by next weekend. The only downside is that I'll have no negotiating leverage left on price. 7 hours away with a trailer in tow I'm pretty sure they will know I'm not leaving without a bike, lol
If you've got the available funds, tell them you'll be bringing a cashier's check and you need to know the exact out-the-door amount. And tell them they're competing against other dealers so you need their very best offer. And make sure they understand that the deal is contingent on a test drive, because -- heck, you haven't driven one before, and that's a perfectly reasonable contingency.
If you don't want to try to make the deal beforehand, then the advice about parking a block away is genius.
Another option is to shop cycletrader.com, you can put in the exact model you want and tell them to sort it by distance, it'll bring up a number of new bikes that dealers are offering, maybe it'll show one closer to you than you have already found?

On the other hand, as a buyer, I can say that I definitely wanted the 114 and didn't consider the 107. For a few reasons. First, I wanted a hooligan bike that would really move, so of course I wanted the bigger engine as a starting point. Second, as Beardo pointed out, I intended to build the engine up a bit (Stage II) and the 114 includes the $300 Ventilator air cleaner. And third, I just wasn't going to buy a new bike without anti-lock brakes, and the 114 included them (they're an $800 option on the 107). Given that there's a $2000 price difference, I saw the 114 as good value -- it includes $1100 of options, so the upgrade to the 114 engine was only really $900. That's about the cheapest performance boost you can get from Harley anywhere. Heck, they charge $600 for mufflers, so $900 for the 114 engine was a good deal in my book.
As far as the 107's position in the lineup -- I believe Beardo's spot-on that if someone wants a good solid dependable daily rider, the 107's fine. And I think it serves as a great upsell bike, the $16,999 is a good entry price point, and the upsell to an $18,999 114 is probably really easy (at least it was for me).
Thats a silver Toyota behind it.
Heres my heritage in the fortune silver. It has some gold or tan mixed in. It doesnt look like a car silver

The Best of Harley-Davidson for Lifelong Riders
Unless the salesman was wrong and the bike I was looking at was some other type of silver (again I'm unsure of the model of bagger), to me that Silver Fortune(?) paint looked like something you'd see on a ski boat or a show car or bike. Very large and very heavy metal flake. Very unusual for something you'd expect to see on the street, at least to me. Eye catching for sure.
