I just recently purchased my second harley 2005 heritage with EFI
whats the best way for more horsepower stage 1 download or power commander ??
I do have Vance and hines big shots but have not changed air filter yet!!
Is the stage 1 down load worth the money!!
Power Commander, no need for the stage 1 then, the power commander will replace the map settings anyway then. You need to open up the intake some more though one way or another. You have the pipes for more exhaust, but you're sort of defeating the purpose by not letting more air in... just a little help.

I have a '06 Heritage with Vance & Hines Big Shots. Put on Stage I and SERT. Much better performance and ran cooler after dyno for race tuner and synthetic oil installed.
