I posted a very similar thread in the dyna section for low riders. I really like the wide rear tire and the skinny front design on the breakout so I'm posting very similar questions because I'm torn between motorcycles.
I'm currently riding a stock 16 Fatboy and I'm dying to upgrade soon. I don't think I "tour" enough for a street glide, road king, or road glide. I'm really leaning towards the new soft tail breakout and I have a lot of questions creating an image for a prospective purchase.
1. I'm looking for pictures of breakouts with a passenger but can't seem to find too many. Are these bike mainly meant for solo riders? Do they look silly with passengers?
2. When I'm hitting about 80-90 around highway turns, I tend to get some wobble on my Fatboy. Do breakouts tend to have a lot of wobble/hand numbing rumble?? How do they handle around turns / weaving through traffic??
3. I'm no good with mechanics and also too nervous to mess something up trying to customize my own bike. Do people tend to get their customizations at a dealership or does the majority DIY their own motorcycles?
4. Can anyone post pictures of their breakout or any breakouts they've seen with bags, apes, and or sissy bars?
I will attach an image of something that looks very tempting. If someone could give me some pros/cons to this type of build that would be much appreciated!
