Where did you get the rear license plate kit BTW??
Frame is a Custom Dynamics quad light (integrated running, brake and turn signals). Bracket were just a few pieces of scrap steel I had in the garage. Mounted between the fender and the retainers for the fender struts.
I run aftermarket mirrors on my 18 Deluxe. They are Arlen Ness Mini Oval Micro Mirrors. When the bars are turned all the way left, they clear the tank by about 1/2-3/4.

Wondering if anyone has had any luck with flipping aftermarket mirrors. The stock mirrors are driving me crazy, can't see a damn thing except my elbows.
I spent an hour messing with mine in an attempt to flip them. Throttle side was fine but like you I couldnt get the clutch side positioned in way to clear the tank and be useful. I gave up, maybe with some mirror extensions it would work.
It's a quick 5 minute job. Flip the mirrors. Then loosen the switch housings and levers. Rotate the grips till you have the clearance you need and the angle of the levers are comfortable. Tighten the housing and levers again. Done.

That's about the only thing I haven't tried. I'll give that a shot today.
I just followed the instruction here and if I want good visibility they will still hit the tank. No go fo me. I'm gonna look for other mirrors instead,
Thanks for sharing anyway!
Toss the stock mirrors in the trash. Long-stem mirrors with the $11 mirror risers from banggood have resulted in perfect visibility on my '18 Fat Bob. I can see the lane next to me, the lane next to that one, and the car directly behind me, in each mirror.
