Toss the stock mirrors in the trash. Long-stem mirrors with the $11 mirror risers from banggood have resulted in perfect visibility on my '18 Fat Bob. I can see the lane next to me, the lane next to that one, and the car directly behind me, in each mirror.
Mine works with the long-stem HD mirrors ($60). I didn't need the risers either. I have my bars rotated down for comfort (-10 deg) and adjusted the lever assemblies to keep my hands aligned the way I like them. I have > 1/4" clearance on the left side and nearly 1" on the right at lock.

would you be able to post a few photos of the long stem mirrors flipped? I was in the same boat with the stock mirrors. Couldn't get them flipped without hitting the tank. Eventually gave up and just got the harley profile mirrors and have them above the bars. Looks better but still can't see. Tempted to try the long stem mirrors.
Thanks!

Please post up a few pictures of what that looks like.
Decided to purchase the long stem mirrors. Gonna put them on flipped tonight or tomorrow morning. Ill take a photo and post up my thoughts then. Thanks for the photos and suggestions
Long stem mirrors installed. They fit without hitting the tank as stated. I love them. Can see so much more and like the look flipped as well. Thank you!
