Looking for a solo seat and I like the way the OEM Street Bob seat looks. Can anyone confirm that the 2018 Street Bob seat is a direct fit on a 2018 Fat Bob?

I haven't actually tried it, but from my research it is not a direct fit. I think Saddlemen and Mustang have solo seat for the Fat Bob.
Well crap, I thought I'd try the Street Bob seat on the cheap. I have my eye on the Saddlemen Renegade solo seat but it's back ordered everywhere and thought I run the Street Bob seat until it's available.
When I installed my Mustang seat, I did a rough measurements. Compared it against some of the others new softail models at the dealership. I don't see why it won't fit. The new Softails have 3 mounting holes in the fender. First two are for the front seat or strap, and third is for the passenger. On the FXFB the strap is in the first hole, a plastic plug in the second and the seat is retained with the third. The Mustang seat swaps the retaining bolt and plug from the first two holes, so the solo saddle now is bolted into the second hole. Which from what I've seen appears to be the same as on the solo seat style Softails. It was a Slim that I looked at for comparison. I can't guarantee, but would be willing to bet the Street Bob's would work too.
