Default Excessive vibration

Alright ladies and gentlemen im new to this forum looking some awnsers to my question i have. So i have a 1988 custom softail and really noticed now its vibrate more when i get into a higher gear and more speed i checked trans fluid and nothing on the stick on second dip now would a lack of fluid cause the vidration or something else?

Hay check your tires for balance cracks bend rims and even air pressure all these can cause vibrations. Look for loose parts on the motor and exhaust system. Tranny’s would just burn out you would be experiencing shifting problems with low oil levels. Go over the bike as best you can or get it checked out my a good mechanic. Good Luck

It may have a lot to do with the motor being non-balanced and solid mounted … I think it was 1999 or 2000 when the balancer was added to the Softail to make it smoother
