I have a 2004 Softail. Suddenly my rear brakes started locking up when they haven't even been used. After I sit for several minutes they release. Then the process starts all over again.
I had the break lines changed after this started, still does it. Could it be the caliper or master cylinder?
Take a wrench for the bleed port with you, when the rear locks up again break the bleeder port a hair. You get a good spurt there's air in the system, probably sucking at the MC. Just a little wet it's caliper issues pads expanding as it get hot, could be dirt, bad pads or an alignment issue.
