the forum. Been a passenger for 15years, got my own bike last year. 2014 softail slim. LOVE this bike. Only 2 problems. 1-Hd doesn't sale a lot of parts (accessories) for them. 2-Hd is telling me I can't put cruise control on it. Any help? I have been told to put non hd bars with extensions on it and it will work. HELP

 

 

Correct, but no true fly-by-wire cruise, you will need a 2018 Slim for true cruise control, I have it on my '18 Slim

 

My 2016 Slim S has cruise,not sure if it was available on standard slim,gotta have throttle by wire.

 

Yes, I have it on my 2016 Heritage (just a fancy Slim).
