spoked wheels always are on tubes.

The '18 Heritage wheels definitely have tubes, however if you study the wheels they have the profile for tubeless. That means that with using the 3M specific tape you can run tubeless tires......If you know what you are doing.

The BMW GS series has Tubeless spoked wheels. All of mine have been so equiped

.I asked before I bought and since then replaced tear tire ..

I have an '18 Heritage 114, and I can assure you my rims have tubes in them. I have 40k on bike and have replaced tires twice. I sealed the rear and converted to tubeless about a yr ago. so far, no problems, haven't lost an ounce of air. will do the front sometime

I put 10,000 on my 1st rear tire and I have 21,000 on my front right now.

7,700 miles on my first rear tire, and It will be bald before 9,000 I estimate.
