hey all. I just pulled the trigger on my first Harley. A 2018 slim. I'm thinking exhaust, and I like the looks and sounds of the radius pipes. The vance and hines big radius and the Bassani sweeper both look sweet and sound (on youtube etc) great. I am leaning toward the Bassani at this point but...
What can anyone tell me about radius pipes and passenger pegs? Will either of these choices be an issue with the peg mounts? I won't be riding 2 up often, but I need to have the option.
I appreciate any input, coming from a sport bike background, the Harley aftermarket world is a foreign place to me.
Thank you
the radius will fit with passenger pegs, my only problem with radius is just like the short shots everybody have those so when I had my slim I went to the V&H big shots staggered and I think they fit the look of the bike better but it's my taste and everyone has different ones. I also switched from a sport bike to a slim in 2012 but I guess I wasn't ready back then so I went back to sport bikes and now I am ready and debating on which bike to get this time. I loved my slim just that I should have kept something to go play every once in a while. Anyway congrats on the slim it's a nice bike you will love it.
Thanks for the replies. Looks like I have some homework to do on exhaust. Im not rushing into anything. I do like the look, but performance weighs in on my decision as well. Maybe Ill investigate some 2 into 1 systems as well
A couple more of the Rineharts. If you have any type of warranty issue, just change the mufflers back to stock quickly before heading off to the dealer. The Cat is in the mufflers on 18 softails not the head pipe like on the touring models.
