I recently bought an 08 Heritage Classic that has a fairing, 4 speaker style. How do I know what brand it is? I am wanting to put a smoked windshield on it. Will any windshield work?

If it's a "Reckless Motorcycle" fairing there should be/was a "RM" badge about the size of a quarter on the right side of the fairing.
Also, if the distance between the center bolt and the outer bolt is around 10 1/4" then it's likely an "ultra" 1996-2013 shield.
Mine is a "no name" fairing.
I had the outer shell from my old 01 FLHT to check it against, they were close (but different).
So I contacted LRS (via e-mail) and discussed it, then I ordered a windshield from them.
There initial ETA was past the time I was going on a trip so I ordered a fill in off Amazon.
The one form Amazon I had to modify to get it to fit (open up/slot the outer holes).
Worked fine, then the LRS showed up earlier than initially expected, it fit perfectly (no mods required).
But to know if it curvature & hole pattern match, get your hands on the trim that goes on the outside (of a HD bagger).
That is the cheapest/easiest way I can think of.
My fairing has a little different curvature and the hole pattern is a little wider than HD fairings.
Do you ride with anyone with a Harley bagger?
See if you can borrow there outside windshield trim (or if they have there old one laying around {allot of people change them out}).
Lay it over the top to check curvature and hole pattern.
For my outside trim I ordered one that would fit a Harley bagger that was made of thin aluminum.
When it came I adjusted the curvature and took a rat tail file and opened up the otter holes so it would fit (did not take long and you can't tell as the screws cover it up).
