Ever notice the cow bells are put on with a slight (very slight) angle to them? Now that I brought ur attention to it........check the cow bell angle next time. It is not straight up and down.
I know u needed to know that. And I bet you will check. And I will be right.

Heard that back in the 70's and have seen it written a few times since. Figured that's why I rarely saw it displayed until the last few years.
