Default Engine Guard

Are all engine guards created equal, are there any that really are better than the rest?
It will go on an '02 Standard
Good morning and thanks

For the most part, yes, all engine guards will perform the same. Choose the one that suits your fancy.

Some have rubber areas on top to rest your feet. You can put highways pegs on as well and have 2 options, I like that.

I wouldn't recommend an off-brand made in China though. Name brands may very well be made in China but generally speaking they exercise better quality control. Just my $.02. I like the mustache HD version of the Lindby bars, mostly because it removed the need for me to buy clamps and pegs in addition to the bar, but also because it was available when other manufactures were/are not yet making bars for the '18's. You can see it in my sig pic.

I have the same bar as iHodor on my '18 FXLR. If I had it to do over again I'd do it over again.

I like that. I must be sheltered, I'd never heard it put quite like that before
