Default 2018 breakout seat question

Hello All!

I just got my first HD Breakout and LOVE it!.... But I am 6"3 and need a new seat that seats me back a little me. Trouble is I can't a 2018 specific seat for the breakout.... only 2017's. What is the difference between the 2 years if any? Any recommendation? Right now I can see there are 2 screws holding the seat in place, but the seats I am looking at online look like they are built for just one screw down point..... All help is greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Breakout.herm

Pretty sure there is an extended control kit for the '18 Breakout, if you're just after more leg room. I like the stock seat, it's so comfortable.
Harley, Mustang and Corbin have new seats for the '18 Breakout, but there's not a huge selection from what i've seen.

Harley's Tall Rider seat might help you. You can also check out the Saddlemen Explorer seat. That is what I went with to sit back further and up higher for my long legs. Good luck!

They do make foot controls that move your feet about 3 inches forward. I don't remember the brand but I have stumbled across them occasionally.

Forward mounting point on the front of the 18 and newer frame is in a different location (the 18's forward seat tab is quite a bit further back under the seat), I can't see there being any way a 17 and earlier seat will fit without some seat pan modifications. The 17 and older seats creep up the tank a bit as well from most of the ones I've seen.
Saddlemen is working on some new Breakout seats (currently back in R&D I was told..they originally sold them as fitting the fatboy and breakout but tank profiles are different so they went back to the drawing board), Mustang and Danny Gray both have 18 Breakout seats and Harley has the Badlander and Brawler available, wont be long before we have some more aftermarket options.
