Belt Tension / Rear wheel alignment

I can't use the swing arm pivots as a reference on my 93FLSTC because the left side exhaust prohibits access so I use the thread count or vernier method. Once I have both sides equal and the
wheel tightened down I put the bike up on the lift , run it in first gear and check that the belt is tracking in the center of the pulley without rubbing or trying to "climb" up on either side.

Belt is tracking true, and have to say what a BIG difference in the ride with new rubber. Also put an FP3 on to try and cool her down. What I think is awesome is V&H made a custom map for that specific purpose. What great customer Service.
With th the fresh tune and the fresh skins, feels like a new bike. I had to steal it from my wife today to go for a rip.
