Got one of these coming later this week for my 2018 Deluxe. Looks better than HD's rack. Will report when I get it on. All I want is a place to put soft luggage which I already have.
Yes chrome for the Deluxe. The factory part has shown some installation problems here...mine was backordered three time so I will try these. It looks like Motherwell has made the install simple by using both factory seat screws and a single rear screw in the blanked fender hole like the pre-2018 bikes did. We'll see and they are cheaper than HD's plus Made in America. I'm just an owner and not working for them here to sell their products.
Just put one on my 18 Deluxe; easy install as it goes under the seat so you can take the seat off to adjust suspension without disturbing the rack. Had the HD one and took it off. You will need a fender nut for the rear attach point. Dealers should have them in stock.
I called Motherwell Products and asked if the rear fender hardware (nut and screw) were included. They said yes, but my HD dealer has the nut assembly 59768-97 and slotted 1/4-20 screw. So we'll see in a few hours when it arrives what's in the box.

I received my Motherwell chrome rack MWL-137-18. It looks very well made and came with a bolt fastener, cushioned washer for the bolt, and a foam pad to protect the underlying fender. It did not come with a HD P/N 59768-97 nut assembly noted above and shown in the YouTube installation video. I bought one locally for less than $3 and they're available online. I suspect the rack was designed for the Heritage model which shares the same rear fender but includes a rear pillion seat. With that seat HD installs the fender nut to hold the rear of the seat. On the Deluxe with a solo seat there's only a black plug in the hole.
Edit: The supplied fastener bolt was a 1/4-28 which would take a few years to fit the 1/4-20 59768-97 fender nut HD uses. I'll call them tomorrow and note the discrepancies so they can amend their installation instructions and provide the correct hardware.
