New Deluxe solo rack

Got one of these coming later this week for my 2018 Deluxe. Looks better than HD's rack. Will report when I get it on. All I want is a place to put soft luggage which I already have.

Yes chrome for the Deluxe. The factory part has shown some installation problems here...mine was backordered three time so I will try these. It looks like Motherwell has made the install simple by using both factory seat screws and a single rear screw in the blanked fender hole like the pre-2018 bikes did. We'll see and they are cheaper than HD's plus Made in America. I'm just an owner and not working for them here to sell their products.

Just put one on my 18 Deluxe; easy install as it goes under the seat so you can take the seat off to adjust suspension without disturbing the rack. Had the HD one and took it off. You will need a fender nut for the rear attach point. Dealers should have them in stock.

Thanks on the info for the installation. I'll check tomorrow about the fender nut from HD. I assumed Motherwell would have supplied one.

Installing a Harley 59768-97 seat nut kit:

We both have the same color. Works for me but I'm not a color perfect guy.

The one I installed on my Slim came with the fender seat nut.

I called Motherwell Products and asked if the rear fender hardware (nut and screw) were included. They said yes, but my HD dealer has the nut assembly 59768-97 and slotted 1/4-20 screw. So we'll see in a few hours when it arrives what's in the box.
