Congrats on the becoming a father. Now...its time for you to make a stand or be forever miserable for the rest of your life. The bikes not dangerous the wife and kids are the ones that will kill you at a young age. Tell the wife you'll get some term life insurance and also get a plan that pays your income if you are unable to work...thatll cover the financial side. If your wife really loves you she wont make you give it up. You can do it. F*ck selling your bike.
I thanked this post and was in total agreement but after thinking about it a bit more .... it needs sold. Super scoooter, hope he gets lotsa money for it. With 2500 miles, it’s existence is going unappreciated. GLWTS!
My first wife told me to sell my motorcycle....I sent her down the road.
My second wife told me to sell the motorcycles when she got pregnant....I sent her down the road.
My third wife told me that it was her or the bikes....I sent her down the road.
My wife loves motorcycles and has enough respect for her husband that even if she couldn't ride, she would never ask me to stop riding.
Well, I write this post with eternal sadness in my heart. I made a promise with my old lady years back that when we have a kid I will sell my Harley.

Sorry about the loss of your *****.
Sorry, think I tend to fall a little bit into this ^^^^ camp.
First thought that came to mind... When presented with this, you should have offloaded the woman and kept the bike.
A promise is a promise & for all the members stating to pitch the wife...good luck having sex w/your bike(s).
Married 33-yrs & still in love like our 1st date in Feb 1980...bikes will come/go, but good "life" partners are few/far between. Your bike's still new, but all the extra parts are pretty much a wash, unless someone's looking for a bike w/your exact taste. Quick KBB check lists retail for your bike at a shade over $16K. If it were me, I'd strip every after-market part, return bike to stock & list for $15,800. Then start selling the parts via. HDForum, Facebook Market, CraigsList, etc. If no-one nibbles...keep lowering price until you reel one in.
If you don't get any takers this late summer/fall...wait until spring & catch a fresh rider. I'm sure your wife will give a bit & you don't want to "give" the bike away. Good luck & congrats on the upcoming addition to your family. Kiddos are precious!
