look closely the red KN Filter is cable tied nicely under the gearbox between the frame
that’s not a catch can. That’s a filter on the end of a hose.it will still drip.

No it won't drip much since the goo is too thick but it needs cleaning often.

Is that as small as it looks?
About how big is it?
How often do you need to clean it out?
Every oil change or sooner?

Thanks

Your 15 FLHTK would have been a Twin Cam, seems to be a bit of a different beast than the M8 engines when it comes to this particular issue...there are numerous threads in the M8 subsection regarding oil dripping off the backing plates and underside of the air filters. I never had a drip from my old 96ci Twin Cam either, clean as whistle for years of hard riding.

GRWHD..the catch can is pretty small, I clean mine out every couple thousand kms, I'm pretty **** about my bike and it's literally a 2min job so I clean it out more often than necessary.
Pic for scale reference..

I haven't seen a good close-up picture of the under side of the oiltank area on the 2018+, so
I'm not sure how much room there is in that location. On my twincam, here's a shot of where
I located my catch-can (plumbed down from an Arlen Ness Derby Sucker)

Agree M8s are pretty bad at blowing oil, local hwy patrolman always get his right side covered with the oil since he has to ride it pretty hard to catch up to a speeding vehicle.
