Default OEM Parts

Where does one go to order OEM parts. I know...the dealer. I'd like to look on the parts fiche myself and make sure I'm ordering the right thing?

Is there a website that offers this? Any help is appreciated.

Thanks and ride safe.

https://shop.outpostalaska.com/OEMpartfinder.htm

Then go to Surdyke Online or BoardTrackerHarleyOnline and put in the part numbers and save $$$ to your door.

You can go to Ronnie's HD site ad look them up too. He only shows up to 2017 model years.

http://partsfinder.onlinemicrofiche.....asp?make=hdmc

I have paper parts books for all my bikes along with the service manuals. If the bike is a few years old you can usually find the parts books and service manuals on E-Bay

I've spent fortunes at both Surdyke and Boardtracker. You really have to cross-shop them, frequently their prices are similar but sometimes one is quite a bit less than the other.

The lowest prices are usually at Newcastle HD, but their shipping charges are usually high enough that the overall deal ends up being better at Boardtracker or Surdyke.

I get the HD service manuals, parts manual, and electronic diagnostic manual for each bike (year/model) that I buy.

The value of the service manual speaks for itself...

Having the parts manual for your bike, not only makes it easy & convenient to look up a needed part, but I find the exploded views very helpful when working on the bike, in conjunction with the service manual.

The electronic diagnostic manual is the one I use the least, but when needed, is worth it's weight in gold......

I usually look up parts on Ronnie's then see which is cheaper...Boardtracker or Surdyke. Small parts it's usually about as cheap to get from dealer due to cost of shipping. Big parts or big orders get you free shipping.

He’s not going to be able to use Ronnies, as they’re parts fiches are always a couple of years behind. Currently only up to 17. Outpost Alaska is my lookup go to, and as others said either surdyke or boardtracker. Great prices, but sometimes I don’t want to wait the week or more it takes to get parts, so for urgent needs, it’s the dealer. They are usually no more then three days for stuff not in stock.

Ive used newcastle once, parts were a little cheaper but the shipping killed the deal and i wasn't even paying attention. 2nd issue for me was it seemed to have taken twice as long as Boardtracker to get my stuff.
