2019 softail fell over. Won’t start.
so unfortunately I woke up this morning to see my bike tipped over in the street. I picked up my bike and had to leave for work so didn’t bother trying to start it up. After I got back from work I tried starting her up and she wouldn’t start. I heard about resetting the Turn Signal Module but couldn’t get it to work. I’m not sure if I was even entering the right sequence. Any suggestions or advice ?

The BAS usually trips when the bike is running and falls over. The BAS will then kill the engine, and it won't start, until it is reset. I have no idea if it will trip when the bike is not running..
I've heard conflicting "methods" for resetting the BAS.
1) Make sure the bike is upright (off the jiffy stand) and turn the ignition on/off three times...
2) Make sure the bike is upright, turn the ignition on, then off for 15 seconds, then back on....
3) Make sure the bike is upright, turn the ignition on, then off, then on (no specific timing to the sequence)......
A lady hit me at a light about 4 years ago on my 2003 Heritage. I went up in the air, the bike got slammed onto its side, and I then landed on the bike. The bike shut itself off. Not a lot of damage to the bike (just tweaked the handlebars and broke the windshield) and just a sore butt on me .(where I landed on the bike). I knew I couldn't ride it home, but wanted to ride it over to a parking lot 50 yards away. I didn't want to push it. It wouldn't start... I remembered the BAS, but not how to reset it. I did #3, have no idea the time between the on/off/on... and it started right up..
If you have the owners manual for your new bike, it may be in there.......
Good Luck....

I had a similar situation happen to me once with a brand new American Ironhorse Slammer. I rolled it out onto the driveway to take a few pictures. I put the bike on the kickstand so I could go get my camera. Those bikes had a funky kickstand that had to be positioned just right to lock it in place. As soon as I turned around to walk away from the bike, BAMM!!! I turned around to see my beautiful bike on its side. After a few seconds of being in shock, I lifted it up like it was the weight of a mountain bike. The adrenaline was flowing. Lots of little bits were scratched but luckily the insurance company picked up the tab. $3500 to be exact.
