Default Won't idle
My 07 Night Train ,with about 28K, has an intermittent won't idle issue. Its' happened twice ,after an hour ,or so, of riding ,as I'm coming to a stop I can feel the rpm's continue to drop to the point that if I don't twist the throttle she will shut off. The last time while riding the engine light came on. It's at the shop now but ,of course it's running fine. The fuel filter was replaced 2 years ago at about 25K. Also ,the first time it happened I added some Seafoam and topped off the tank. The issue happened the second time about 2 weeks later. Please help.

I always recommend checking for DTC codes first. Your problem may be resolved by cleaning the throttlebody/IAC?

The shop still has the bike and they suspect that it's the Crank Position Sensor.

My SGS has been giving me fits on the idle. Ended up being an intake air leak. Good luck with yours.

Speed sensor possibly if the speedo was acting up too

My 08 Fatboy did this and I cleaned the idle air controller, found how to do that on here also, and has worked fine ever since.
