the taller one does it too when in stock position, I had to raise it to the top of the forks to get it high enough. Mounted high and with some fangs, the buffeting is gone. But, it all depends on how tall you are, since that will dictate where your head sits in the airstream.
I remember seeing that in your thread. Ill prolly end up that direction next year.

Same here. I also read that in several of your other threads.
Got the cruise programmed today finally as it’s been too cold for me to ride. Charged me a half hour labor and I know it takes 2 min but I didn’t argue. Last FB I had i installed cruise and the dealer tech just did it for me no charge and I gave him $50 directly for some beer.
They did mine for free also... I guess it all depends on your relationship with your dealer. Bike looks good btw.
I hate my taller shield, and would be willing to swap for the shorter one if anyone's interested. I had it tinted, but you can remove that if you prefer clear.

So I have the ability once I install the resistor (I have to order another one as I only had one) to dim this LED strip I have installed so I can have tail, stop and turns. The stock tag light being underneath.
Or I can install small LED strips down the side of the blackmill bracket as in the second pic for turns.
Does that look too busy?
I cant get the LED plate frame on without tearing the LED strip I have installed already out to make room.
Here is is a pic of the plate with its ton of wires. They really could clean that up with just one heat shrunk wire harness coming out at one location but otherwise its a nice plate and fits the curve perfectly.
I have that same plate holder from Custom Dynamics. How did you get the yellow turn signals to work? I could get them to signal when the turn signals were activated but they would also come on when the brakes were applied.

2019Fatbob, the rear turn signal circuits also carry brake power. That's how the stock bullets light up as turn signals and brake lights, and that's why the yellow light bars on the Quad-Radius frame are trying to act the same way. The only way I know of to pick up "clean" turn signal-only power on your bike would be to run wires forward to the front turn signal circuits in the wiring harness.
Alternately, you could use a Tri-Radius plate frame, which has red light bars suitable for use as brake and turn signals.
