New member and first post. I have a 1998 FLSTC and need a replacement fender with the original red/black paint scheme. I found a used one but the site says it fits 2000-2006 Softail Classics. My question is aren't the front fenders for the FLSTC the same prior to just a few years ago?
The frame was changed 1n 2018, and it was probably changed at least once more between 2006 and 2018. I seriously doubt that the fender would fit without modification, but the only way to be sure is to check with a qualified person at your nearest dealership. The hard part is being certain that the person that answers the phone is looking up part numbers or simply giving you an opinion based on his/her memory.
