I'm currently riding a '15 fatboy lo with short shots, SE heavy breather, and a SE fuel pack. I'm looking to upgrade to a 2 into 1 D&D fatcat with a Power Commander V.
My question is sound comparison. How does the d&d compare to the SS sound. I like the volume of the SS, but it's a bit "tinny" for me--scientific term, I know. I'm looking for the performance of the 2 into 1as well as making the exhaust note a bit deeper. Does anybody have experience with both sets? How does the sound compare?
If you haven’t already, try a YouTube search. I went through the same and there were several videos on YouTube that provided decent comparisons.
Nice looking ride.
just put on a set of Fatcats on my Lo sound is deeper than the V&H slip-ons . Have short shots on my nightster with Big city thunder baffles, plus cams and pistons. that Nightster is loud and sounds badass! As for the D&D it is a deep exhaust note and does scream when you get on it very nice pipe
