I in the process of buying a 2013 RK and I'm looking into exhaust for it. I'm thinking of getting a Thunder header to eliminate the cats and just leaving the the rest of the factory exhaust for the time being. My question is if anyone runs this setup and how do you like it, sound, performance, etc?

 

If youre gettin rid of the cats and installing a thunderheader what do you mean by leaving the rest of the exhaust? That being said i have the 2-1 thunderheader on my 12 SG and love it. I have the pro tuner se aircleaner and ended up with 99 lbs. ft. torque and 82 hp.

 

The sound is awesome, (best that I've heard) power is very high on the list of performance exhaust systems, too! Loud as Hell...it may get tiring after a while.

My Thunderheaders sound great. Not too loud or obnoxious.
