2018 FatBoy 114 shenanigans
So, not my bike but my brother's. Purchased from the dealership in Costa Rica, bike has 5000 kilometers (roughly 3100 miles)
He's very happy with it so far, but this past week the bike lost all power at at stop. As it deceled to stop and he idled the bike, engine just died and all so did the gauges. It stayed that way for about an HR or so, as if the battery was dead. Then it started and ran normally.
Yesterday, same thing happened. Bike was towed to the dealership for service but no codes so far and they haven't been able to replicate.
Being overseas, they don't sell a whole bunch on new bikes, they may have sold 20 M8 bikes altogether maybe, so it's not like here in the US. Reason I mention it is because the service department may not have as much experience with these engines.
Bike has Rinehart slip ons, factory air filter no tune, no wires have been replaced or modified.
Have anyone on here experience anything like that with an M8? Any input would be greatly appreciated.
