Not another one!!
I had 4" CVO style bags on my stock road glide custom and they were only 0.5-1" longer than the stock rear fender (pictures of them in my albums). if you have an extended 5" rear fender on the back they go halfway between the axel height and the ground. Keep in mind if your bike is lowered at all you will drag those extended bags if you ride any corners aggressively. They make skid plates for the bags. but my worry is less about scratching the bags and more about lifting the bike when you hit a bag and sliding out. I have always gone through floor boards on my Fatboy and event the Road Glide. But my fatboy is 1-1.5" lower and the floorboards are frequently dragging in corners. if they diid not fold it would be over.\
Here is a link to a seller and it shows 5" extended bags on a stock old stock Fatboy fender and they are only a little longer. if the fender you are looking at is 4" longer than stock it will be a couple inches past the bags.https://www.ebay.com/itm/5-Stretched...gAAOSwv-xb3Q8A
