Default Batwing fairing installation

Hello i have 2012 Heritage classic i am installing an aftermarket fairing with a single DIN stereo, my question is, is there a wire harness to already installed on the bike from the factory or is it something ill need to connect myself? I am wanting to keep the ability to remove the fairing easily for cleaning and maintenance. Thank you ahead of time for advice and sorry if this has been asked before!

What fairing are you installing? I put a Tsukauy batwing on my dyna. It came with the stereo and a power wire harness. Chances are you bike didn't have any accommodation for a rairing so you'll be wiring that yourself.

Its a Memphis shades i believe, i purchased it from a friend that purchased it from a friend, i have fabricated mounts that attach to my stock windshield mounts on the bike to make it a quick detach. I just wasn't sure if the factory had planned for such upgrades to make it more plug and play friendly. I have done stereo installs on cars before so wiring it myself shouldn't be an issue.

The Heritage doesn't have a stock receptacle for connecting the fairing.
You'll have to wire it up directly yourself.

Looks like you're missing the connector that probably came with the fairing/radio.
You'll need to research the "pin-out" of the radio and then go on Amazon and order a new connector kit.

An aftermarket harness kit would likely help you keep it neat and easily unplugable. Walmart often has these sitting on the shelf in their stores.
