I really love my bike. The only 2 attractions i have to a bigger model would be 1) the bigger frame, and 2) the full Fairing so i can have a radio, etc.
I am considering doing the Boom Audio system, and connecting my ipod.
But i wonder if a full fairing is also available? I did a quick google and saw they appear to mount extremely easily, maybe even using the windshield pegs ... though electrical would be another story, i am sure.
Anyhow, i didnt see many FLSTC with it done, so i wonder if maybe it wasnt possible?
I got my fairing for about the same price as the boom audio cost only extra cost was painting it.
It is quick release so it on or off in minutes and the wiring was three simple wires. One to the neg, one to positive and one to the aux so it's off when the engine is.
It's a reckless fairing. Good fairing customer service sucks
I have a woodys fairing on my fatboy. Great fairing and great customer service (www.woodysfairings.com) stay away from the ones on ebay, know a guy that has one they are junk.
I put a reckless fairing on mine, painted it myself. The quality of the fairing is really good for the price I believe. Bought a stereo and some marine speakers from crutchfeild. Very happy with the outcome !

So you buy the fairing that doesnt include stero, and it has openings for you to just go buy one and mount it easy enough?
If you buy the fairing without the stereo you can have many more choices of speakers and stereos. I bought a JVC stereo, put a marine splash gaurd cover over it. Alpine 6.5 boat speakers. I also built a bracket under my throttle and attached the key chain remote to it so I can work the stereo without removing my hands from the bars. My bikes a 97 so i cant use the cd player without skipping but a mp3 player in the auxiliary outlet works good. I am going to make my fairing more permantly mounted over winter so someone cant steal easly.
