I considered the taildragger for my Fatboy.I wanted that low to the ground look.Reminds of alot of bikes I saw when I was a kid.I think the Fatboy lends itself well to that style.After trying a couple of aftermarket fenders with no satisfaction I decided to alter the stock fender.Here's a couple of pics of my fender.It's been extended 4" ,the same as the taildragger.It's just got a different shape at the bottom.I'm sure somebody on here must have a dragger,they are fairly popular.Oh yeah,if you go that route--be careful when backing up to curbs.I learned the hard way.
Now thats nice,Can you see anything out of those mirrors??I tried mine like that and all I could see was my armpit.
It depends on how far forward I have the bars. I have ridden it around with the bars forward and back, the further back, the less I can see. I have long arms and I dont mind the bars a little more forward than most, so when I look down into them, I can just see over my shoulders. It's quite a stretch though.

looks really cool!!! i have the same problem! i can't find any cool rear fender for my 90's fatboy..... i wanna do some custom works by myself.... i need a good base, maybe just take a second stock fender and then extend it! how did it you??? thx for help!!! rudy
