I am wanting to put stage 1 on my 2016 Heritage Classic but want an exhaust that is not too loud. Someone has suggested a 2 into 1 system as these would be quieter and recommended the Vance & Hines Pro Pipe or the Cobra Power Plus HP. Anyone got experience of these or something else that might be suitable?
Pro pipe has a good sound ,- I have 2 buddies that run PPipes... less noise than my VH Big Radius.
Some comment ProPipes have performance advantages... others may have more experience...
The reviews I've read and sound clips I've heard, the Cobra PowerPro HP is loud. Love to hear input on anyone that actually has one could weigh in on the DBs.
I've got my eye on the Bassani Road Rage 2 into 1 long for my 05 FSXTSI . Still poking around..
Ran with a Thunderheader for a while. The exhaust note got on my nerves on long rides. I went with Bassani Road Rage II and never looked back. Excellent quality and a great sound. I would definitely recommend that you add Bassani to your list.
Exhaust sounds are very subjective.... someone's loud is another person's too quiet...
Best bet is to go to a couple "bike nights' at a dealership or attend a couple charity group rides and hear a bunch of different pipes for yourself... sooner or later a "sound" will catch your ears and you'll know which exhaust you truly want...!
