The kit comes with harness 69201775. Thought I did not need anything else but instructions says I need 69201070. Is this true? Also does this turn off the front running lights? First post to forum - thanks for any help
If you turn on the high beams now do your AUX. light go off?
Then this will NOT change that. Not knowing what year this was available there's a harness you can add,
make your own or possibly have the dealer "FLASH" the ECM.
Just an update, needed the 69201070 harness ($18 and another trip to the shop) in case anybody runs into this. Got the day maker on sale for $399. Just finished installing it, no big deal. Can’t wait to try it. All lights are working fine! Thanks for the info!
Bought the 7" Daymaker on sale and thought it would be plug-n-play on my 2016 Softail Slim S. I was wrong. I need part# 69201070 which I ordered.
Did you have to alter your BCM setting; Dual Halogen Mode versus Standard Mode? The instructions that came with my Daymaker list a bunch of steps dealing with a volt meter and probing this wire and that wire. Ugh. I can't tell if my low-beam stays on when I turn on the high-beam.

Did you also upgrade the Aux lights and wiring? I have the 3 light set from a 2014+ Ultra and want them in my 2005 Deluxe. Free is free.
