Possibly, Here come the dumb question's, have you checked the oil level/correct weight of oil? What brand oil filter, How many miles on the bike, any recent engine work/modifications?
oil full 20/50 lucas synthetic k&n oil filter 22,000 miles, screaming eagle heads s&s gear drive cams v&h air cleaner and v&h big shot pipes with v&h fuel pac thanks please respond BILL
Bass Player makes a good point, But in MHO I would try using a HD oil filter first, I haven't had much luck with after market oil filters. Just a suggestion and a place to start without tearing things apart. Good luck Ride safe.
all work done well before light problem sorry to bother any mind readers i wont ask again uncle bill 1%er
Don`t get bent out of shape... just trying to get an idea what is going on. Sometimes people must be told that we are not mind readers...If you spend some time on the forum, you will see that many people will describe a problem, but not tell what model and year bike is in question, and people will jump right in with answers, without knowing this info.
Now that we have that information, we can assume that the work done on the engine is probably not the issue.

I was just reading the post again and you jogged my memory. I had a friend of mine with a similar issue only he was using Fram filters. (His oil light would flicker ) I had an HD filter and changed the Fram to the HD. He also ran synthetic oil, but hadn't been for very long.
I dumped the oil and put some 20x50 Valvoline motorcycle oil in it. Never a problem with his oil light flickering again. I don't know which solved his issue, but one or both did. That was on an 883, but it was stock other than a Screamin Eagle setup.

I believe the Twin Cam has the oil pressure sender, before the oil filter... so the oil filter should not affect the oil pressure light....
