Default Quick ? on sprocket bolts
2006 Deluxe Doing some work and while the rear wheel is off I want to change the pulley bolts. Are those a special type like a grade 8 or a specialized type?

Buy sprocket bolt kit from any of the quality manufactures and be sure to use locktite and TQ or use the stretch technique as outlined in the instructions or they will come loose and ruin a wheel and leave you stranded

Some like loctite some don’t want to risk ruining a wheel when the bolts seize up. I was able to weld nuts to the Allen bolts the last time the bolts seized up

Do yourself a favor and get ARP chromoly bolts. They have the correct shoulder diam. to ride correctly in the pulley.
